Am I plus-sized? I don’t know. It all depends on what plus-size means. But I do know that I love independent pattern companies, and their patterns do not always come in my size.
So I’ve put together a list of sewing pattern companies that make things a bit bigger (plus-size, curvy, full-figured?) and that hopefully will be of use to others as well.

I am a larger women and found a number of years ago Connie Crawford was a great independent. All her patterns are sized according to the ready wear sizing. I noticed she has a section in Buttrick now.

sisboom also has a couple mens patterns and so does scientific seamstress that all go to 3x (marco and tommy for sisboom and the bowling shirt and easy fits for scientific seamstress)
